DEADLINE TO REGISTER: BY MIDNIGHT, TWO DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT (MARCH 12)

Join us on our Full Moon Series Hike for a transformative night-hiking experience under the March Full Worm Moon.

Immerse yourself in the magic of the night as we embark on a journey through Birds Hill Park. This full moon hike offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature and appreciate the beauty of the landscape.

As we hike, we will pause periodically to gaze at the Worm Moon (howling optional), a celestial event that is associated with earthworms that spring to life as winter ends. The Anishinaabe name for the full moon in March is Ziissbaakdoke Giizas, or the Sugar Moon. This moon symbolizes renewal and growth, and is a time to rejuvenate as the earth awakens.

Our Full Moon Hikes require that everyone carry their own light source, whether a headlamp or flashlight (mandatory).

If you wish to carpool to this event, please see details under the carpools section below.
