Join Backcountry Women and Merrell Hiking Club for a fun urban hiking event you don't want to miss! In celebration of International Women's Day 2025 (IWD) coming up, we're giving away some sweet swag bags to participants, plus we'll draw a winner of a voucher for free pair of Merrell footwear!!

The event will kick off with intros and a scenic group hike. Following the post hike giveaway gathering, participants who wish to stick around are more than welcome to stay at the park for an opportunity to skate or use the toboggan slide (bring your gear!). Let's celebrate our community and the bond we share with fellow female outdoor enthusiasts!

Arrival Time: by 1:15 PM. We will begin the hike no later than 1:30 PM. The time arranged allows for you to have time to attend to personal needs such as organizing your gear and for the leader to share information with the group. 

Location: Bunn's Creek. Exact meeting location will be shared with registered participants.

Experience: All skill levels welcome. You should have the ability to walk with the group at a moderate, steady pace for the duration of the activity. Appropriate footwear and layered clothing is required. 
Terrain: Snow/ice covered paths. Trail is generally level. 

Pace: This activity will be at a steady, moderate pace.
