Regarding COVID-19: Due to the numbers placed on gathering restrictions, we need your cooperation in only signing up for events that you can truly commit to attending.
Masks are mandatory when gathering at the beginning and end of our events. Additionally, we strongly recommend masks be worn during the activity (but are not required as long as physical distance is being maintained) - if group members are closer than 6 feet apart they MUST wear a mask covering their mouth and nose. Happy Trails Hikes are about movement, connection, and getting out on to the trails in or around Winnipeg during the week. This series of hikes, happening on select weeknight evenings is open to all levels and is designed to connect with like-minded individuals from the Backcountry Women community.

Arrival Time: by 6:00 PM. We will begin the hike no later than 6:15 PM. The time arranged allows for you to have time to attend to personal needs such as organizing your gear and for the leader to share information with the group.
Location: Bunns Creek. Exact meeting location will be shared with registered participants.

Duration/Distance: Approximately 1.5 hours and 4 KM.
Experience: All skill levels welcome. You should have the ability to walk with the group (while physically distancing) at a moderate, steady pace for the duration of the activity. Appropriate footwear and layered clothing is required. Please bring a headlamp or flashlight.
Terrain: Gravel, snow packed. Trail is generally level.
Pace: This activity will be at a steady, moderate pace.
