Join Backcountry Women for an informal yet structured and unique learning opportunity. These gatherings are different from workshops even though set topics are discussed. These chats are a round-table discussion and an opportunity to share and learn from others.

Topic: Backpacking Gear - the Big 3 Plus More (topic chosen by Facebook group!) The Big Three include shelter, sleep system, and backpack. New backpackers and gear junkies alike are encouraged to join. All styles of gear from traditional to ultralight-weight and from budget-friendly to higher-end are welcomed to be talked about. Feel to bring a few pieces of gear with you to the chat to showcase.
Location: Due to the current COVID restrictions on group sizes we will be doing a virtual Fireside Chat on Google Meet. Details will be provided to registered attendees. You do not require a Google account to use Meet, but it is more helpful.
Time: We will begin promptly at 7 PM.
Further details will be provided to registered participants. Participants are responsible for having a valid e-mail address, communicating with the event organizer regarding any changes in attendance, and for checking e-mails prior to an event.
In light of the global pandemic, we are cautiously proceeding, allowing only a small number of participants at each event. We will need your cooperation in only signing up for events you can truly commit to attending. If you miss out on registering please get yourself registered on the waitlist.
