Join Backcountry Women for an informal yet structured and unique learning opportunity. Set topics will be discussed with a lot of opportunities to ask questions. This event is open to Backcountry Women members only.
March topic: Black Bears and Safety in Bear Country
Wildlife encounters often inspire wonder, however, fear of the unknown can make some encounters less-than-enjoyable. Let's chat about staying safe in bear country - there's bound to be some bear stories we can share! This chat will be facilitated by fellow BCW Advocate Jessica Burtnick who has guided bear-based adventures in both Churchill, MB and the Great Bear Rainforest, B.C.
